We believe Penobscot Blend™ Organic & Natural Planting Mix is the ideal soil amendment for planting perennials, roses, shrubs, trees, or cannabis. It provides the rich and diverse soil your plants need. Formulated from composted salmon & blueberries, sphagnum peat moss, aged bark, oyster shell and mycorrhizae.

Our all-in-one planting mix for annuals, perennials, cannabis, shrubs and trees or conditioning gardens, beds and borders. A rich, smooth blend of salmon and blueberry compost, composted cow manure, aged bark, peat humus and tiny mussel shell fragments. The shell fragments help to aerate and add texture to your soil, which results in improved root growth.

Follow these few, simple steps
Planting beds & gardens
Dig a hole as deep and twice as wide as the root ball of the plant. Place the plant in the bottom so the stem is centered and the crown is slightly above the rim of the hole. If the root ball is burlap wrapped, make sure to cut away the wrapping.
Fill in with equal parts of Penobscot Blend™ and soil, tamping around the plant. Water thoroughly and regularly until the plant has established itself. Feed with an organic plant food such as our Stonington Blend™ Organic Plant Food
